FOUR COURSES, EACH SIX WEEKS LONG
*Our Courses Curriculum means to be accessible, go deep, stir the mind, move the heart, and be useful and practical for everyday life.
*Each Wednesday beginning January 6th 2021 we will meet on Zoom at 5pm Eastern time.
*The Courses begin Wednesday, January 6th 2021. That’s each Wednesday until June 16th. You can register for any course individually or all.
*Each Course Session is 1.5 hours. Tuition is $35 for each session individually or $200 for each course. If you wish to take all four courses, you can register for all for $800. Tuition payments can be made monthly or on an agreed schedule. If you can’t afford tuition you will be expected to make some contribution. No one is left out but everything must have a value. The Zoom invitation code will be one code for all sessions.

 

THE WEDNESDAY COURSES:

1. EVERYDAY RAJANAKA, APPLIED PHILOSOPHY ONE GREAT IDEA, ONE USEFUL PRACTICE JANUARY & FEBRUARY 2021

This course features sessions devoted to one important concept and a practice in the form of a contemplation, meditation, or spiritual exercise. We will consider teachings from Rajanaka Hindu sources, Zen and other Japanese traditions, the Confucians and Taoists, and material western traditions of humanism.

Our six dates, 5pm Eastern on ZOOM:
–January 6th/13th/20th/27th/February 3rd/10th

2. ESSENTIAL GODDESS: RAJANAKA ŚRĪVIDYĀ IN MYTH, MANTRA, YANTRA

FEBRUARY & MARCH 2021

The mythologies of the Great Goddess Lālitā Mahātripurasundarī, the mantra known as śrividyā, and the basics of the śrīcakra and yantra practices.

Our six dates, 5pm Eastern on ZOOM:
–February 17th/24th/March 3rd/10th/17th/24th

3. THE NATARAJA CYCLE, TILLAI KALI AND AYYAPPA MARCH, APRIL , & MAY 2021

This course offers the cycle of stories and images that provide the foundation of Rajanaka mythologies. Our focus is on Shiva, Shaktias Kali of the Tillai Forest, and character of the nonbinary Ayyappa. If you are not familiar, these tellings are like none other you have heard. If you may know some or even quite a bit gathered over the years, here we will go deeply and into further details that will be new. Accessible and vitally important storytelling that can change our lives. Our six dates, 5pm Eastern on ZOOM:

–March 31st/April 7th/14th/21st/28th/May 5th

4. RAJANAKA TANTRA IN THEORY AND PRACTICE MAY & JUNE

This course weaves the myths and images of Shiva, Shakti, and the second generation including all of the “sons” and “daughters” (beginning with Ganesha and the rest) and creates a woven fabric of essential teachings as Rajanaka teaches

them. We will work from a “Tantra” that creates a doorway for studies that bring myth and practices together in the tradition of Rajanaka interpretation. Our six dates, 5pm Eastern on ZOOM:
–May 12th/19th/26th/June 2nd/June 9th/June 16th
